Cindy Douglas is the Village of Malone Water Account Clerk and is happy to answer any billing questions you may have. At the bottom of this page, there are various forms that can be utilized for water turn off/on – vacancy credit requests, change of address form for billing purposes, applications for water or sewer service and application for water meters.
(For certain applications, there are fees associated with them; please complete the form and return it to the Village Office at 14 Elm Street, Malone, New York. The Water Clerk will let you know if any fees are due.)
If at any time you are experiencing water or sewer issues or have questions that are not account/billing related, please call the Village of Malone Department of Public Works at 518-483-3521. Listed below are the water/sewer rates that the Village of Malone has charged through the years.
At this time, the Village of Malone is currently working on installing a water meter system for its residents. The first phase of the water metering will start with multiple dwelling structures and commercial/business structures. Please feel free to call the water clerk or the DPW Office if you have any questions regarding the water meter system.
The Water Laws and Code for the Village of Malone can be obtained through the Water Account Clerk. Please feel free to contact Ms. Douglas for assistance in this matter.
For your information, during the winter months, village residents are responsible for keeping the sidewalks by their homes clear of snow and ice.
