Joe Riccio |
Joe Riccio became a resident of Malone in 1997 when he joined the Malone Telegram as a reporter. He soon became involved in multiple aspects of the newsroom operation of the Telegram, and was eventually promoted to editor. It was a position he held until 2006 when he left the newspaper to take a position with Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. While his new job was in a different community, he chose to remain a resident of the village of Malone where he lives with his wife Joanne and step-daughter Ciara. He currently serves as the Director of Communications, Marketing and Government Affairs for Adirondack Medical Center. He is also the President of the Board of Directors for the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, and will begin serving as the Chair of the North Country Workforce Investment Board in the summer of 2011. Joe is also a member of the Malone Lodge of Elks. Joe was born in the Newport, Vt., and grew up in Barton, later moving to Colchester. He graduated from St. Michael’s College with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and enjoys cooking and the outdoor lifestyle that comes with living in the North Country. |

Dan Marlow grew up in Malone, New York graduating from Franklin Academy in 1980. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Brockport State University majoring in Business Management. Following graduation Dan lived throughout New England for over twenty years working for corporations such as Hallmark Greeting Cards and Newell-Rubbermaid. His responsibilities as a National Sales Manager required extensive travel which limited his amount of quality family time. In 2004 Dan and his wife Jean moved back to Malone in order to raise their two sons Jake and Matthew in the same community in which he grew up. Moving back to Malone has allowed Dan more time to become involved in coaching youth sports. He currently serves as treasurer for the Malone Mustang Football organization. As a registered independent, Dan brings an unbiased opinion to all issues impacting the Village of Malone. He looks forward to serving his fellow taxpayers to the best of his abilities. Please feel free to contact Dan with any issues you feel would positively affect the village. |
