RECREATION MAINTENANCE WORKER -  The Malone Rec Park has a seasonal vacancy for a recreation maintenance worker.  Minimum qualifications are two years of experience in either general building and grounds maintenance work or in one or more of the standard building trades; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.  Possession of a NYS driverís License is preferred. $10/hr, 40 hours a week.  Applications available at the Village Offices and must be returned by close of business (4:00 PM) on March 13, 2015.  EOE - Residency waived.

LIFEGUARDS Ė The Malone Rec Park has seasonal vacancies for Lifeguards.  Candidates must submit a copy of the following certifications at the time of application:  possession of a valid American Red Cross (ARC) basic life support  for the professional rescuer CPR certificate; possession of the American Red Cross Water Front Lifeguarding Certificate, and a valid lifeguard training certificate from a certifying agency (such as ARC, Boy Scouts, etc.) acceptable to the State Health Commissioner.   Possession of a NYS Driverís License is preferred.   Applications are available at the Village Offices and must be returned with certifications by close of business (4:00 PM) on March 13, 2015.  EOE - Residency waived.

LABORERS Ė The Malone Rec Park has seasonal vacancies for Laborers.  There are no minimum qualifications required, but some experience in manual labor is desirable. High school diploma or GED preferred.  Ability to perform such duties as mowing, trimming, weeding, cleaning bathrooms, picking up garbage, and performing other related duties as assigned.  Possession of a NYS driverís license is preferred.  Applications are available at the Village Offices and must be returned by close of business (4:00 PM) on March 13, 2015 Residency waived.  EOE.

DPW SEASONAL LABORERS:  The Village of Malone has seasonal vacancies for two (2) laborers.  There are no minimum qualifications required, but some experience in manual labor is desirable. Hunting License Now Available Here!!

Hunting License are now being sold here at the Villages Offices for whoever needs one. When coming in to purchase a hunting license you will need to bring with you last years hunting license or a drivers license. Please call our offices for any further information.


Remember to get a permit when putting in wood, corn, pellet stoves.
